It is a small Village/hamlet in Devikulam Block in Idukki District of Kerala. This peaceful settlement is located in the middle of a reserve forest about 27 km away from Munnar . Till very recently this place was not a very popular, but now a lot of tourists who used to travel to and from Munnar visits here to watch the elephants.

The elephants will not attack the visitors unless they try to get into the track of elephants called as ‘anathara’.
